Discover where adventure begins with Electric Mountain! Whether you’re riding a Surron electric dirt bike in the summer or shredding on a SkiBike in winter, these handpicked locations guarantee unforgettable experiences in Calgary, Banff, Canmore, and Kananaskis.

McLean Creek

McLean Creek Provincial Recreation Area is located just 12 km west of Bragg Creek along Highway 66. This picturesque spot is ideal for fishing, hiking, and camping, with sites suitable for both RVs and tents. The campground is adjacent to extensive trails within the McLean Creek Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ), offering abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Electric Mountain offers guided Surron electric dirt bike tours through this rugged terrain — it’s one of the best off-road riding areas near Calgary. Perfect for beginners and seasoned riders alike, McLean Creek delivers an adrenaline-packed introduction to Alberta’s backcountry on two wheels.

South Ghost

South Ghost Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ) is situated within the Municipal District of Bighorn, on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains, approximately 140 km (84 mi) northwest of Calgary, Alberta. The nearest town with commercial services is Cochrane, located about 40 km (24 mi) southeast of Ghost PLUZ.

This area offers another ideal location for riding Surron electric dirt bikes, with its diverse terrain and breathtaking views providing a perfect backdrop for off-road adventures.

Electric Mountain runs exclusive Surron tours in the South Ghost PLUZ, offering riders a unique chance to explore lesser-known mountain trails and experience the Canadian Rockies away from the crowds. If you’re seeking an authentic off-road adventure near Banff and Calgary, this is it.

Electric Mountain offers SkiBike rentals for use at approved ski resorts within Banff National Park, including Banff Sunshine Village and Lake Louise. Located just 15 minutes from the town of Banff, these destinations offer some of the most scenic winter terrain in the Canadian Rockies.

One of our favourite ride zones is Sunshine Village — perched 7,200 feet high on the Continental Divide, with expansive views and ski access across Alberta and British Columbia.

While we don’t operate within the resort itself, our SkiBike rentals give you the freedom to explore the mountain independently, with gear that’s fun, safe, and beginner-friendly.

Whether you’re new to SkiBiking or a seasoned rider, Electric Mountain provides equipment and insight to help you enjoy an unforgettable winter experience in the Rockies.
